Background Information | CD157 (cADPr hydrolase 2, BST1, BP-3/IF7, Mo5) is a GPI-anchored ectoenzyme possessing ADP-ribosyl cyclase and cyclic ADP-ribose hydrolase activity. It uses NAD and cADP-ribose as substrates. CD157 is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes, macrophages, follicular dendritic cells, bone marrow stromal cells and human umbilical cord vein endothelial cells. In case of rheumatoid arthritis the expression is often higher and it is also differentially expressed in the myeloid leukemias. It may also have a signaling role. |
Usage | The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis of human blood cells. Recommended usage is 10·µl reagent·/ 100·µl of whole blood or 10^6 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (1 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests. |
Storage Buffer | The reagent is provided in stabilizing phosphate buffered saline (PBS) solution, pH ≈7.4, containing 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) BSA. |
Storage | Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Store in the dark at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. |
Stability | Do not use after expiration date stamped on vial label. |
