Product information "CyFlow™ CD178 PE"
Quantity | 100 tests |
Volume | 1.0 mL |
Immunogen | L5178Y mouse T lymphoma cells expressing recombinant human CD178 |
Background Information | CD178 (Fas-L; Fas ligand or CD95L), a member of TNF family transmembrane glycoproteins, is responsible for induction of apoptosis in cells containing its receptor Fas/CD95. The CD178-mediated apoptosis pathway has been implicated in peripheral tolerance, tissue pathology, and maintenance of the immune privileged sites. Defects in this interaction may be related to some cases of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). CD178 was also described as a co-stimulatory receptor for T-cell activation in mice in vivo. |
Usage | The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis of human blood cells. Recommended usage is 10·µl reagent·/ 100·µl of whole blood or 10^6 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (1 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests. |
Storage Buffer | The reagent is provided in stabilizing phosphate buffered saline (PBS) solution, pH ≈7.4, containing 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) BSA. |
Storage | Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Store in the dark at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. |
Stability | Do not use after expiration date stamped on vial label. |
